About the Author

Erechia Kano is a devoted mother, registered nurse, and passionate advocate for children with disabilities. Inspired by her non-speaking daughter, she wrote I Hear You to honor the beauty of unspoken connection and the strength found in every child’s unique way of communicating.Through her own journey, Erechia has come to understand both the challenges and the resources available to families raising children with disabilities. While every path is different, she hopes that by sharing her experience, others will feel a little less alone and a little more empowered to seek out the support their child deserves.
